A major part of our fundraising efforts goes into the creation and sales of t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts with our logos on them. All of our logos are designed and created by volunteers who have either battled their own Mental Health Issues or are in fact, still doing so at this time. All the logos come in various colourways so we can offer plenty of options! We are very proud to offer these products along with many other wonderful designs which will ultimately help our project grow and succeed. The 'stories' behind our logos are listed below along with each design... we hope you love them as much as we have loved creating them.
This logo is attempting to depict a 'battered or distressed' pair of shoes with our name on the actual shoe and the message of support for Mental Health Awareness running along the bottom just below the shoes. The text also has the 'distressed' effect and the reason we have this is to recognise exactly how many people suffering with Mental Health Challenges feel much of the time. We hope in time that this logo becomes synonymous with positive thoughts and actions with regard to Mental Health and Well-being
Our Retro Circle Logo is one we absolutely love and has proved to be a 'hit' with many of our supporters because of the 'cool vibe' it has along with the variety of colour options available with it. We have had a few comments regarding it's possible likeness to other ones, including Pretty Green. While we can see similarities with the fact it is circular and has text in it... ours is far better (and obviously we are not biased at all!!) Firstly, ours has an actual circular border around it, secondly, the text we use is in recognition of 'the Summer of Love' which is significant and unique to us and thirdly, I was wearing Paisley Pattern long before a certain Mr Gallagher was barely a glint in his dad's eye... even if it was only cotton pyjamas!!!
This simple text design is the heart of our project. Simply put.. Don't judge what you don't know! If we could all show a little more patience and understanding, the world would most certainly be a better place! (or at least we believe it would!)
We already know many of our supporters love this because of it's simplicity
